Apple introduces 14-inch MacBook Pro with M6 chip: Turkey price is 137,999 TL
Apple introduced the 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M6 chip, replacing the entry-level model with the M5 chip; pre-orders in Turkey will begin on October 28 with prices starting at 137,999 TL.
Artificial intelligence (AI) features are becoming more widely used on computers, and Apple's new M6 MacBook Pro model was launched specifically for these features. Developed from its processor to its software with a complete focus on artificial intelligence (AI), the new MacBook Pro with the M6 processor has been introduced, and its price has been announced.
Apple officially launched the new 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M6 chip on October 27, 2026. The device replaces the entry-level model with the M5 chip. Its price in Turkey starts at 137,999 TL. Pre-orders will open on October 28, and sales will begin on November 6.
Performance Increase Brought by the M6 Chip
The M6 chip features a 12-core processor and a 12-core graphics unit. Both sections have two more cores compared to the previous generation. There is also a Neural Accelerator in each core of the graphics unit.
Apple claims that graphics performance has increased by up to 30 percent compared to the model with the M5 chip. Stating that artificial intelligence (AI) tasks running on the device are up to 25 percent faster, the company adds that the Neural Engine runs up to 1.9 times faster. This explains the detail I just mentioned above. The new MacBook Pro adapts to artificial intelligence (AI) in every sense.
Memory, Storage, and Display
In the new model, standard memory is offered as 16 GB, up to a maximum of 32 GB. Memory bandwidth is 170 GB/s. Storage starts at 1 TB and can go up to 4 TB. This means the entry-level model's storage has doubled compared to the M5 model.
On the display side, there is no major change. Because the computer has a 14-inch Liquid Retina XDR display reaching 1,600 nits peak HDR brightness. A nano-texture display that reduces reflections is offered as an additional option. The long-rumored OLED display and touchscreen are not included in this model. However, it is possible that this computer will also be introduced toward the end of the year.
Battery Life and Connectivity Options
- Battery life: Up to 24 hours according to Apple. According to information provided by the company, this is the longest Mac battery life to date.
- Charging: With a higher-wattage compatible USB-C adapter, the battery charges to 50 percent in about 30 minutes.
- Wireless: Upgrading from Wi-Fi 6E to Wi-Fi 7, and from Bluetooth 5.3 to Bluetooth 6.
- Ports: HDMI, MagSafe 3, three Thunderbolt 4 ports, SDXC card slot, and headphone jack.
- Display support: Two external displays.
- Camera: 12 MP Center Stage.
Turkey Price and Sales Schedule
The 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M6 chip goes on sale in Turkey starting at 137,999 TL. The starting price in the US is $1,999. It comes in two color options: Space Black and Silver. The device comes with macOS 27. Models with M5 Pro and M5 Max chips remain on sale.
How does this affect you?
If you are a professional user and waiting for a new design with an OLED display, don't rush. If you are using a MacBook with an M1 or Intel processor, this model could be a sensible upgrade with longer battery life and a noticeable performance boost.
